My question concerns the nesting habits of lovebirds.I have noticed that they begun tearing the newspaper?

Im always clean the cage and they almost immediately they fell to the bottom and started ripping it into strips and carried back to the bird tent .So again, should I continue to provide fresh paper to them for their nests? I am afraid that too much material will cause them to bury their eggs and therefore not get the proper incubation from the parents. Please help !!Thanks !!!
