I think my cat is plotting against me!?

I've noticed that recently my cat's been watching me while I eat and sits outside my room for up to sometimes an hour. I find this rather odd. Should I be on my guard? She's normally really pive but I reckon it's to lull me into a false sense of security. She wants me out the picture... I know it...
