2nd time asking font question?

I am taking an old english course at university. I would like to find a program(freeware if possible) or a font pkg online that would allow me to type a mcript in old english. There are lots of fonts that claim to be old english but are really caligraphy. I need one that has the special letters like a thorn and the ae that are connected. Please no 1001fonts.com because places like that do not have what I need, I have already looked.
