2 1/2 year relationship confusion?

My ex girlfriend and I have been going out 2 1/2 years. We broke a thousand times before mostly over petty things but always made up. We even went through a period of three months where she dated someone else and stuff but we still got back together because her love for me was undying. To make stories short we had a fight april 28th and she broke up with me over another stupid thing and a computer virus. She started calling me saying she was going to call the cops if I didn't fix it. I came to her house thursday after she called me numerous times and threatened me more. I fixed her computer and we ended thing on good terms. Then saturday came and an officer called me so I called her to ask why an officer called me. It turned out when I went to the presinct sunday that she wanted to press charges and put a restraining order on me for calling her saturday. I never abused her in any way at all. She has temporary fits of anger. Would the time apart help us and we can work it out? I movin2
