Can someone explain to me this monologue?

It's about jealousy....the wife was jealous of women her 1st husband used to paint when he was an artist...and she had a crush on her 1st husbands grandfather, and the grandfather was jealous of her 2nd husband becuz he wanted her but couldnt have her...but the 1st husband painted her second husbands portrait I guess not knowing when they got divorced that would be the man she married...now they are all dead and she is just reminicing on how fascinating her life was
