Question about next earthquake?

Here's the "Thing" about the "Big One" you're referring to. No matter HOW Strong it IS; it's exact LOCATION- is what will determine WHAT'S going to happen to the Landscape above AND around It. If it's on land & within 25 miles of You (& your home ISN'T made of wood), your building WILL collapse- in less than 20 seconds (& you'll NEVER make it out alive- cuz you'll be bouncing off the walls- Inside ! ). IF the Quake is Offshore- say 10 or 15 miles; then you'll NEVER be able to get far enough Inland- before a 50 foot Tsunami will sweep up the Bay- and destroy everything for ten miles Inland (INCLUDING your Wooden House- if THAT's what you had been so lucky to Live in ! ). It makes NO DIFFERENCE- in a 9.0 Earthquake how "well built" a Structure IS... Because the "roller-coaster ride" that the earth is going to be experiencing- is not going to leave much of ANYTHING standing !!! So if You REALLY want to "avoid" the coming "Big One" of THIS Century...- You might consider making a "Move"- say to Nevada- ANYtime Soon ! :o
