Does hair repell girls?

i am quite hairy, and i dont like to shave my facial hair. Kids in my cl tease me by calling me names such as 'sasquatch' and 'apeman' etc.. Does hair repell girls or do some like a hairy man? i dont really feel as confident when i shave, but i feel as though i will eventually be bullied into doing so..what should i do???
